About the Role
The Program Manager Brigade Finance, Donations and Fundraising (PMBF) forms part of the Brigade Finance function's leadership team and is a SME who provides reliable advice on Brigade Finance matters to internal and external stakeholders.
The position requires a balance of leadership and coaching as well as technical and analytical skills.
The role also supports various management committees and decision makers to:
i. Exercise effective financial management and governance over the available funds donated to the two respective donation funds.
ii. Provide updates on related projects, including monitoring actuals to budget.
About You
Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (accounting, finance, data analytics) and/or significant experience in data analytics and developing insights within a finance department.
Demonstrated experience providing mentorship and coaching support.
High-level problem-solving skills, including lateral thinking and initiative in conducting research and developing solutions.
Strong proficiency in Excel and solid experience with data management and data visualisation tools such as Excel or PowerBI.
Ability to understand and assess risks and develop suitable and feasible mitigation strategies.
Significant technical knowledge and expertise, and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent work objectives.
Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to successfully consult, influence and negotiate at all levels, and foster collaborative relationships in a complex environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to translate complex material into meaningful information for end users, including non-finance users.
