The Opportunity:
We welcome applications for a driven and enthusiastic HR Business Partner to join our team, serving as the primary point of contact for all HR needs, supporting the Castle leaders and team members. A vital role within our kingdom - shaping our organisation's culture and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
This role requires strong generalist capability with exposure and expertise across many facets of HR, including oversight of rostering and payroll using the Deputy online tool, Award interpretation, recruitment, onboarding and off-boarding procedures, and talent development.
You will make a positive impact through enhancing our current HR processes, developing and implementing HR policies, and ensuring compliance with the relevant Award, employment laws and regulations. This role will embed process discipline, ensuring our line leaders are equipped with the knowledge and skills to get the best from their teams, with a pro-active attitude.
A positive and hands-on approach and a dedication to service delivery are essential. This is an exciting opportunity for a solution-oriented individual seeking a permanent part-time role (22.8 hours per week), based on site in our unique castle grounds.
About You:
- Tertiary qualified and experienced as an HR Business Partner within the hospitality, tourism, or entertainment sectors.
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
- Experience implementing and championing HR initiatives.
- Familiarity with ‘Deputy’ online rostering, payroll and HR modules.
- Robust knowledge of employment laws and regulations, and interpretation of Awards (Amusement Park, Events and Recreation Award an advantage).
- Experience providing support and advice on performance management, ER issues and Workcover Claims.
- High level attention to detail, ethical standards and confidentiality.
- Ability to obtain Working with Children check
