The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced project management professional to ensure the successful delivery of civil construction projects nationally.
Reporting to the Manager of CPP Civil, the Program Manager will provide leadership to a team of Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will also be required to perform project management and other project delivery tasks on certain projects as required.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage a team of project managers, providing mentorship, coaching, and support to ensure project success.
- Develop and implement strategic plans and objectives for the civil business division, aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of civil construction projects nationwide, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, engineers, and government agencies, to facilitate project delivery and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise.
- Monitor project performance, financial metrics, and KPIs, and implement corrective actions as needed to mitigate risks and optimize project outcomes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- 8+ years Project Management experience with high-value civil construction projects
- Demonstrated ability in the successful management of teams
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build strong relationships across all levels
- Strong understanding of the full life cycle of projects, e.g. tendering, design, construction and commissioning
- Qualifications in either Civil Engineering or Project Management will be highly regarded
- High levels of attention to detail
