In this role, you'll:
Working as part of Sydney Train’s Asset Management team this role will see you plan, manage and drive the interface with external parties including councils and developers whose proposals, access and works in, over and adjacent to the rail corridor may impact on Sydney Trains operations and infrastructure.
You can enjoy a dynamic role where you work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, developing and implementing interface arrangements to meet the diverse stakeholder requirements from the beginning of the application through to finalisation of projects.
Your role will have a direct impact on safety and reliability for our travelling customers given the complexity of the operational environment.
This is a temporary opportunity up until March 2025 with the potential for extension.

About you
You will have an understanding of construction and civil works and a demonstrated knowledge of general construction and site safety practices.
You have the ability to operate at a fast pace in a dynamic environment where you’ll be hands on with a wide variety of stakeholders and focused on delivery in our Sydney Trains 'make it happen' culture. You have a natural flare to engage with people and be open to formulating solutions to project challenges.
You will have significant experience in interface and/or project management of multi-disciplined projects in a complex engineering and operation environment (rail or construction), preferably in a brownfield rail environment.
You will have tertiary qualifications in Project Management, or equivalent experience, preferably in a brownfield rail environment.
