About The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join our Electrical Technologies team based in Artarmon.
We are seeking a real go-getter who can open some exciting new doors. This integral role identifies and develops new business opportunities with high potential prospect clients whilst providing exceptional service to a portfolio of major accounts across the State Electrical Technologies operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Provides bid and tender support at a State level
- Generates new business opportunities within existing and new markets
- Manages a portfolio of existing clients through ongoing customer engagement
- Reviews project estimates to ensure overall margin objectives are met
- Provides accurate sales forecasts to Management and at sales meetings

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record in Sales, unwavering motivation for delivery, and a natural aptitude for first-class stakeholder engagement. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
- A background in Audio Visual is essential
- Strong ability to develop, negotiate and close sales
- Exceptional customer service with a consultative approach
- Sound business acumen
- Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Highly organised and proactive approach with excellent time management skills
- A background in electrical, client service and construction industry is desirable but not essential
- Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business or management or Electrical trade
