Job description
The Portfolio Reporting Office is responsible for tracking and reporting on progress of implementation, integration and coordination of QPS recommendations from the
Women’s Safety and Justice Taskforce (Report 2) in relation to sexual violence responses and the experiences of women and girls as offenders, and other relevant inquiry recommendations.
The core capability requirements for this role are:
• Plan and manage program, activities in line with Whole of Government best practice and standards.• Provide high level strategic direction and leadership in the analysis, design, development and implementation of program and related business strategies, organisational change.• Provide regular program progress status and prepare, review and present project board papers, reports, briefing notes, submissions, and other correspondence.• Manage and lead teams of multi-disciplinary subject matter experts engaged in the efficient portfolio, program and project delivery• Effectively monitor budgetary, physical and human resources in accordance with QPS policies and procedures and whole of government best practice• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with business governance processes and facilitate successful delivery of the QPS Portfolio of programs and projects.• Provide guidance to program and project stakeholders to facilitate informed business decisions that improve business processes and meet changing and challenging business needs.
Role Requirements
Mandatory
• Previous portfolio management experience and proven experience in a government environment would be highly regarded.
