Our Queensland State Government client is searching for a Program Officer with demonstrated experience in large scale, complex IM/ICT project environments to provide project support to project managers on one or more projects.
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Project Manager with the preparation of project documentation including project initiation documents, work package documents and status reports.
- Organising meetings and workshops, including preparing, collating, and disseminating paperwork and documents such as agendas, minutes, management and performance reports.
- Providing project governance and assurance advice to project managers and providing a quality assurance role over project artefact generation.
- Developing (in consultation with the Project Manager) and maintaining the project schedules and registers.
- Preparing project financial reports, reconciling, and reporting budgets, actuals, forecast, variances, and billing information.
- Other duties as required.
Experience within a similar role in large scale, complex IM/ICT project environments, coupled with knowledge and understanding of developing and maintaining a Microsoft Project Schedule. Exposure to a Prince2 environment is highly desirable.
