Job description
The VCAA is a statutory body responsible to the Victorian Minister for Education, serving both government and non-government schools. We provide high quality curriculum, assessment and reporting for all Victorian students birth to 18 years.
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Assessment and Reporting Division in the Assessment Programs Unit for an ongoing full-time position.
The purpose of the role is to provide administrative support, including supporting the team for NAPLAN Implementation.
The role will require the successful candidate to:
* manage the day-to-day administrative tasks, including managing incoming calls, emails and correspondence
* maintain organised filing systems, both digital and physical, to ensure easy access to important documents
* prepare, edit, and proofread documents, reports, presentations and other materials as needed
* respond to inquiries and requests from key stakeholders and internal team members in a professional and timely manner
* draft and send emails, letters and announcements as necessary
* manage and track invoices, expenses and reimbursements, ensuring compliance with financial processes using Oracle
* assist team members with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, preparing presentations and arranging meetings.
* Manage the alternative format test materials applications for NAPLAN. This includes knowledge of Large Print and Braille formats.
* Manage the NAPLAN observation project including recruitment, planning and payment of observers.

During peak period weekend work will be required. This position is located at the VCAA Assessment Centre in Coburg.
