- Full-time max-term position until Feb 2025 (maternity leave backfill)
- Based at our Ferntree Gully office + Travel to other sites required + Some flexibility offered.

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Administration Officer to join our Child, Youth & Family Wellbeing Program!
More than just a skills-based role, we’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, who values being part of a team, using their initiative, and contributing to the creation of a customer-centred, professional, and friendly working environment.
In this fast paced, varied role, you will:
- Provide responsive, efficient, and accurate administrative and reporting support to Family Support Services Stream (CYFW) which includes 7 teams/services.
- Coordinate bookings, book and confirm client appointments, contribute to the management/maintenance of waitlists, assist in planning groups/events/activities, minute taking, and more.
- Communicate with customers professionally and in accordance with the EACH customer charter.
- Assist engagement of people who experience barriers to inclusion by coordinating involvement of cultural advisors’ interpreters’ volunteers and care teams when requested.

Who we are looking for
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a busy administrative team environment.
- Experience in community health care setting.
- Appreciation and understanding of the not-for-profit sector (desirable).
- Proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office programs, and experience using electronic client management database systems, knowledge of Trakcare, DEX and IRIS (highly regarded).
- Strong focus on customer service, continuous improvement, flexibility and responsiveness.
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive, negotiate and resolve issues with sound decision making skills.
- Culturally aware and values social inclusiveness as a strength and positively utilises diversity.
Qualifications
- Diploma level in Business Administration or relevant experience.
