Programatic Marketing Specialist

Your team

The Digital Marketing team executes and provides advice on a wide range of performance marketing initiatives for Great Southern Bank to acquire, engage and retain customers. This team has full accountability for Paid Search, Social, Display, Video and Affiliate marketing, and provides insight and advice to other business units to create connected omni-channel experiences. 

We have the opportunity for a Programatic Marketing Specialist to join the team.

This is a full-time permanent position based in the Brisbane CBD head office.

You report to the Senior Manager – Digital Marketing, who reports to the Head of Marketing, who in turn reports to the Chief Customer Officer

Your impact and contribution

The Programmatic Marketing Specialist is empowered to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across paid social, display and video channels with the primary goal of increasing brand awareness and consideration, while also supporting business growth.   

You will have real ownership of results with end-to-end campaign management accountability across all programmatic activity, along with the opportunity to work alongside some of Australia's best marketers and use cutting edge tools.

You will be a solution-orientated strategic thinker, who has experience running Programatic Marketing campaigns and loves getting into the data. 

Your responsibilities

  • Planning, execution and optimisation of Paid Social, Digital Video, Display and Remarketing campaigns with full ownership of results for all products within Great Southern Bank.
  • Setup programmatic campaigns end to end including Implementation, trafficking, budgets, optimisation, brand studies, cross-channel R&F and pacing campaigns to deliver targets based on allocated budgets.
  • Distil key channel insights and data to the most critical elements to influence differentiated targeting, messaging, flighting and optimisations. Draw actionable insights from the DSP and Ad server to make key business decisions
  • Negotiating deals and guaranteed buys with external partners in line with marketing strategy and media plan.
  • Develop and maintain a regular reporting cadence for marketing campaigns and provide ad-hoc reporting as required.

Your experience

  • 3 plus years’ marketing experience in a digital marketing or advertising agency with a focus on programmatic media. (Financial Services experience desirable).
  • Proven experience implementing complex social, video and display campaigns, ideally for large brands with sizeable budgets.
  • Proficient with DV360, Campaign Manager, YouTube, Facebook ads and ideally experience with TikTok Ads and other publishers.
  • Reporting capabilities across Google or Adobe Analytics, Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and Data Studio / Power BI / Tableau / similar suites.  

Your qualifications

  • Business/Marketing degree or similar tertiary level qualification. 
  • Google Marketing Platform Certification is highly desirable. 
  • Facebook Ads Certification is highly desirable. 
  • Adobe Analytics Certification is highly desirable.
