FUSA is responsible for community building events on campus, including Orientation. FUSA also provides a wide range of other services including managing clubs and associations, provides welfare and advocacy services. About the RoleFUSA is seeking a motivated Programs and Events Officer to foster a vibrant community across Flinders Campuses, through the development of programs, events, and activities. Supporting the Senior Coordinator Programming and Communications, you will engage with diverse student groups and individuals to assess needs and co-create solutions that build community and are aimed at improving student experience. You will also be responsible for:Working closely with other University stakeholders, including student leaders to contribute to the delivery of the social component of a University wide orientation and welcome program.Building relationships with a diverse range of student groups including students from marginalised communities, students with additional needs and student leaders.Engaging in best practice event and project management, including the development and implementation of mechanisms for the ongoing review and effective evaluation of events against key performance indicators.About YouYou will be an energetic self-starter and excellent communicator who can build positive relationships with a diverse range of students.
