The Footpath Library
The Footpath Library is Australia's only giving mobile library for people experiencing homelessness.
We are looking for a part time (12-16 hours per week, flexible days) Programs Manager in Perthy, to support our Managing Director.
We are a small team with a fantastic network of volunteers, needing a great manager who really wants to make a difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness.
IDEAL SKILLS AND QUALITIES INCLUDE:
- Passion for literacy and interest in homelessness issues
- Excellent Volunteer management skills (essential)
- Self motivated
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Google docs and sheets experience
- Ability to manage a small budget (under $50,000)
- Minimum 10 years work experience
- Preference for homelessness sector experience
- Must have up to date COVID-19 vaccinations
- Must have drivers licence and own vehicle
