Flexibility to work around other commitments (2 days/ week)
Present professional learning programs to early childhood teachers through virtual and in-person workshops in Metropolitan Melbourne (including outer suburbs)
Australia's largest public museum organisation is seeking a passionate and experienced communicator to join our Early Years STEM team and contribute to the delivery and evaluation of our early childhood STEM suite of professional development programs for early childhood teachers and educators.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The primary responsibility of the Programs Officer, Early Years STEM will be to assist in the successful facilitation of professional learning workshops and ensuring that program delivery and communications engage participants and stakeholders and contribute to achieving the objectives of MV and the Victorian Department of Education.
NOTABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Demonstrated ability to interpret STEM and/or science for Early Childhood adult audiences.
Sound understanding of varying Early Childhood environments (family day care, long day care, sessional kindergarten) and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF)
Experience using standard software to compile and update documents (such as Microsoft PowerPoint), and deliver presentations and information in a collaborative, live virtual environment.
The successful applicant will possess strong organisational and administrative skills as well as a Working with Children Check and National Police Records Check (new employees are required to meet this cost).
OTHER INFORMATION
This is a part time (0.4 FTE); fixed term position, ending 30 June 2026. The salary on offer is $66,063 (pro rata) + 11% superannuation.
