Hays is excited to be partnering with a specialist property development company, who, due to recent growth, now have an exciting opportunity for a Project Accountant to join the finance team.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting with the preparation of year-end and half-year end statutory accounts
- To manage project cashflow, project funding and cost analysis to ensure projects remain within budget
- Manage the Payment Request System and approve accounts payable invoices
- Facilitate reimbursement for all project-related costs from funders
- Take a leading role in analytics and tracking throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare monthly project reports tailored to different stakeholders' needs
- Collaborate with Finance Team members to fulfil information requests from all stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in an accounting role, preferably in project accounting in a property or project-based industry/company. You will have excellent communication and collaboration skills and be CPA or CA qualified, or close to completing your studies.
