Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with demonstrated expertise in/with client contracts, financial compliance and project management.
The role involves the management of a geographically diverse team - whilst supporting leaders in costing, budgeting and margin forecasts, collaborating on internal and external audits and assisting the Financial Controller with reporting. Your contribution to organisational planning, risk management, and continuous improvement is crucial in shaping the financial future of our organisation.
Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the oversight and management of contracts, purchase orders and variations, managing financial processes, and ensuring accurate billing and expense claim processing. Proficiency in Sage Intact and strong attention to detail are essential.
Qualifications
- Tertiary Qualification(s) in Finance/Accounting
- CPA qualification
- Strong analytical and accounting/financial skills including compliance, reporting and legal issues (Engineering environment considered advantageous)
- Demonstrated leadership experience (management of a geographically diverse team considered advantageous)
- Demonstrated experience in project accounting, receivables and cash management
- Advanced experience in and use of accounting packages and MS Office (particularly Excel) software
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (with exceptional attention to detail)
