Batmac Constructions Pty Ltd is currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Project Administrator in the Shoalhaven Region.
With over 29 years of experience, Batmac Constructions has established itself as a highly successful company in the Construction and Commercial Building Maintenance industry. Since its inception in August 1994, Batmac Constructions has been headquartered in Nowra and has grown to become one of the largest and most trusted building companies on the South Coast.
We have offices conveniently located in Wollongong and North Nowra, enabling us to efficiently undertake Commercial Projects, Large Scale Residential Projects, and Commercial Maintenance Works within the regions we serve. These areas include the Shoalhaven, Illawarra, Eurobodalla, and Southern Highlands.
Skills and Competencies
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, internal staff and contractors to ensure that construction projects are executed efficiently and according to Project Management Plans (PMPs) and specifications.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate project documentation including contracts, drawings, work orders, purchase orders, safety documentation and permits. This involves organising, and updating documents as necessary.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Assist in preparing project budgets and track expenses throughout the construction process. Monitor costs to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Schedule Management: Assist in developing project schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of tasks and milestones. Coordinate with internal staff, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they meet project deadlines.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams. Facilitate effective communication and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
- Quality Assurance: Assist Project Managers with quality control documents to ensure that work meets industry standards and project specifications. Conduct site inspections when necessary to complete reports
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to project managers and other team members as needed. This may involve scheduling meetings, preparing reports, issuing work and purchase orders, and handling correspondence.
- Contract Administration: Assist in administering construction contracts, including reviewing contract documents, tracking changes, and processing payments to contractors and suppliers.
- Problem Solving: Assist Project Managers with problem-solving efforts to address issues that arise during construction, such as delays, conflicts, or unforeseen circumstances.
- Technology Utilizsation: Utilise Batmac's management software and other technology tools to streamline processes, track project progress, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
