Project Administrator
Type: Ongoing temp role with the view to transition to permanentSalary: $70,000 + super

Your new company
Hays is working with an organisation that provides construction services to its clients, delivering project services from concept stage through to commission. They are based in Cameron Park, and are seeking an experienced administration professional who is motivated, has excellent organisational skills, and a passion for working in the construction industry.
Your new role
As a Project Administrator, you will be working with the managers to provide general administration support to specific projects running in the business. You would be responsible for a variety of duties and responsibilities, including:
- Provide admin support, handling travel arrangements, basic contract admin, and meeting coordination
- Manage onboarding compliance for tradesmen, ensuring their inductions are complete and updated in relevant portals (e.g. Pegasus and Glencore)
- Booking medicals and induction appointments.
- Raise POs for project packages during job startup and handle ad hoc POs during construction.
- Accounts payable, checking invoices, allocate for approval, and onboard new suppliers.
- Accounts receivable, assist with progress claims and manage claim systems.
- Credit card reconciliation, collect and review credit card receipts.
- Establish budgets, set up WBS structures, and assist with cost control.
- Job / project setup, coordinate startup, complete project forms, set up projects, and manage induction.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working in Administration or Project Administration is required.
- Experience working in the construction industry is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to communicate well with the team, and ensure everything is running smoothly for the project.
- High level of organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Great computer literacy, with the ability to learn and use multiple systems and portals day to day.
