About This Opportunity
The Senior Project Officer assumes a pivotal role in orchestrating and administering projects of diverse scope, ensuring their efficient completion. Charged with the responsibility of supporting end-to-end project coordination, this role is instrumental in delivering strategic and operational outcomes. The purview of responsibilities encompasses project planning, meticulous monitoring and evaluation, coordination of deliverables, communication endeavours, stakeholder engagement, and judicious oversight of project budgets.
In addition to these overarching responsibilities, the Senior Project Officer plays a crucial role in the coordination of CRE RESPOND events and education programs. This involves the adept creation of marketing collateral, website management, and proficient use of social media platforms. The coordination extends to facilitating the AMO Team and CRE RESPOND Committees, encompassing the maintenance of calendars, meticulous organization of meeting materials, and the proficient documentation of proceedings.
Key responsibilities further include providing high-level administrative support to the Antimicrobial Optimization Team and the Centre of Research Excellence RESPOND, functioning as the point of contact for inquiries, maintaining comprehensive calendars, and utilizing various desktop-based programs and management information systems. Liaising effectively with internal and external stakeholders is imperative to sustain relationships that fortify operational outcomes.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position for up to 12 months. At HEW level 6, the full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $84,871.95 - $91,158.90, plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $99,300.18 - $106,655.91 annually. As this role is covered by an Enterprise Agreement, you will also receive regular remuneration increases – at least once a year.
About You
A Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience or equivalent experience and/or equivalent education/training
Demonstrated experience in event/project coordination and clinical research administration
A developing understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks
Excellent time management skills, including the ability to balance competing priorities within tight timeframes
Demonstrated the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders to provide updates regarding project status and implementation issues
Experience coordinating diverse stakeholder engagements
Experience using Microsoft Teams, Vision 6, Drupal would be advantageous, or a proven ability to quickly adapt to new project management software
