Job Title: Project Chemical Engineer
Reporting to: Project Manager – Water Projects

Task & Responsibilities- Work on a tender with bid manager / estimator to provide process engineering support including review of technical specification, prepare technical data sheet and obtain price quotations from various vendors.
- Work independently as a process design engineer from concept to detailed process design of water and wastewater treatment plant. This includes delivery of PFD, mass balance calculation, P&ID, Functional Description, and control philosophy, testing and commissioning plan, standard operating procedures, operation, and maintenance manual.
- Preparing designs for chemical process systems and planning control systems for water treatment processes such as those used to remove and separate contaminants from water.
- Design and run lab, pilot scale plants, and provide technical support in company’s IP. TM related process.
- Monitoring the operation and maintenance of water treatment equipment to achieve maximum efficiency under safe operating conditions.
- Investigation of water treatment product utilisation and pollution control problems
- Site technical supervision, testing and commissioning of water treatment plant.
- Work with junior engineers and graduates and mentoring.
- Involved in process optimisation of water treatment plant and involved in site-based operation and maintenance role.
- Tertiary degree in a relevant field such as Chemical / process Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position as a Chemical or Biochemical Engineer
- NSW construction white card
Salary: $70K/yr - A$80K/yr plus superannuation
