About the Role:
The Project Coordinator is an important member of the generation project delivery team, the role works closely with project managers and other project team members to deliver projects efficiently, on time and within budget.
Actively working on projects, the co-ordinator assists project managers with planning, managing and organising activities and resources. The co-ordinator responsibilities also include managing various project elements including, schedule and risk management, maintaining project documentation, project reporting and the financial management of the project.
Key Responsibilities
Support project planning and execution
Maintain an oversight of project activities
Assist with the determination of milestone achievement
Support schedule development and regular updates
Assist with project procurement and contracts management
Research information as required
Identify and resolve issues promptly
Ensure timely response to technical queries;
Assist with the co-ordination of commissioning activities and project handover.
Provide guidance and leadership to contract supervision on Synergy processes and values
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Synergy staff and contractors
Ensure the project complies with governance requirements
Key Accountabilities:
Monitor and report project progress
Project document management
Manage project communications
Assessment of contractorâs payment claims
Manage risk, trend, variation and change registers
Financial management tasks i.e. invoices, service entries and accruals
Ensure contractor resources are compliant with Synergy induction and site access requirements
Facilitate project submission documents, including endorsements and approvals
Coordination and management of project resources
