These roles will help build and support the major projects team deliver the Copper South Australia Growth program.The Program, endorsed in the LoA25 Target Plan includes a series of growth investments to deliver incremental copper units from South Australia. These investments are in various stages of development and will transition to the major projects team during CY24.These roles are Adelaide based and BHP relocation support will be provided for successful applicants.About You
- Demonstrated experience in supporting complex multidiscipline projects.
- Strong technical expertise in Project Controls principles and practices.
- Full investment lifecycle experience from early phase studies, execution planning, construction, and transition to operations.
- Business acumen and understanding of business value drivers and value optimisation processes applying divergent and convergent thinking skills.
- Persuasive stakeholder engagement skills including the ability to influence and build effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to engage with & communicate effectively across multiple business units and functional areas.
- Exceptional productivity that demonstrates reliability in getting the job done accurately and on time.
- Ability to assess the accuracy of data provided by contractors and facilitate / coordinate updates and reporting.
- Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- Roles of successively increasing responsibility in a project environment focused on Project Services or related disciplines.
- Strong background of Owners Team or Contractor capital projects team positions.
- Demonstrated experience with Project Controls processes, systems and tools.
- Proven ability to work within a matrix organisation.
