About the Role:
The Project Coordinator scopes, implements and ensures the successful delivery of a range of multifaceted projects including capital works on site and key strategic projects and initiatives.
Supporting the Senior Contract Administrator and COO, The Project Coordinator ensures comprehensive project management, proper operational controls, administrative and reporting/documenting procedures to effectively deliver projects for MMA.
Key Responsibilities:
Capital Works:
• Plan, design, and manage corporate projects.
• Conduct feasibility assessments and develop business cases.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and manage project timelines.
• Budget planning and financial oversight.
• Manage project lifecycle and contractor performance.
Tenant Fitouts:
• Review and manage approvals for site work.
• Ensure compliance with tenancy agreements.
• Manage asset maintenance.
Quality Management:
• Ensure contractors maintain acceptable standards.
• Review and maintain compliant documentation.
• Monitor work progress with service providers.
Contract Management Support:
• Review contractor quotes and assist in drafting management plans.
• Oversee compliance of contracts and educate staff on technical intricacies.
• Review overall performance of service agreements/contracts.
Safety:
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, fostering a positive safety culture.
Education, Qualifications, and Experience:
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business or Project Management
• Extensive experience in project management roles with exposure to leading large programs of work
• Demonstrated experience consistently delivering on quality, time, safety and budget targets across complex projects
• Outstanding proficiency in the application of best practice project management methodologies,
• Understanding of commercial contracts and implementation and project risk mitigation strategies

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of organisation
• Excellent interpersonal skills inclusive of negotiation, with a demonstrated ability in stakeholder engagement
• Comfortable dealing with a range of internal and external stakeholder and navigating political and sensitive landscapes.
