PROJECT COORDINATOR – CREATE NSW
- Exciting opportunity to contribute to the vibrancy and cultural life of NSW
- Clerk Grade 7/8 role based in Sydney
- Temporary, fulltime for up to 18 months
- Base salary range from $106,025 to $117,363 plus superannuation

The Project Coordinator provides support, research and analysis and coordinates activities that support the development and delivery of cultural infrastructure projects associated with the NSW Government’s Creative Communities Policy. A passion for arts and culture is looked on favourably!
As Project Coordinator you will:
- Provide a range of project management and support services to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget and within scope.
- Assist the activation of underutilised Government assets for cultural spaces.
- Manage discrete workstreams within projects, monitoring performance against objectives and managing risks and issues.
- Produce a range of project documentation suitable for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes.
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain positive relationships with project stakeholders including clients, contractors, and consultants.
- Coordinate project finances and end to end procurement processes in alignment with probity standards and government requirements.

About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven experience in civic or cultural infrastructure project management, architecture, property management, precinct planning and/or placemaking or significant built form project delivery is required. You must have experience in building infrastructure - other forms of infrastructure such as digital, telecommunications, roads, rail etc will be insufficient to be a successful candidate for this role.
- Ability to deliver on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment where there may be conflicting interests and views from a range of stakeholders.
- Strong research and analysis abilities which will contribute to informed decision making and accurate recommendations.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills - you will be preparing clear briefs, presentations, and accurate reports.
- Confident building positive and productive relationships across myriad stakeholders including clients, other government agencies, contractors, and consultants.
- Initiative and the ability to work flexibly across projects and teams.
