The primary focus of the Project Coordinator is to work collaboratively with the Project Manager to deliver capital works, remediation works and develop governance processes. The Project Coordinator will also work closely with the Operations Manager to provide support and oversight for Facilities projects delivered at the local level.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- In collaboration with the Project Manager contribute to the coordination and management of a range of, concurrently delivered, building, grounds and plant equipment upgrade and projects.
- In collaboration and with support of the estate teams, liaise with the Campus Managers on projects delivered on the respective campuses, specifically those being coordinated by the Campus Managers.
- In collaboration with the Project Manager prepare project documentation and coordinate a range of goods and services.
- Support the Facilities Leadership Team in the timely preparation of draft business cases, procurement processes and reports.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in procurement and project management in the delivery of building and grounds maintenance projects.
- Demonstrated experience in drafting a range of operational documents and forms, including drafting statement of requirements and procurement paperwork.
- Demonstrated communication, negotiation and liaison skills to effectively engage with a broad range of stakeholders, including staff, and management as well as government directorates, and contractors.
