Project Coordinator (Administrative Work, Supporting Pm's & Technical Team)

Exciting & challenging position. Work with internal PM's, trades professionals. Facilitate effective project delivery, PO's & invoicing.

Salaries are competitive, up to $90,000 package, limited travel, based at Garden Island, 38 hours a week.

An engineering company that specialises in the custom design & build of safety-critical systems for the Defence Sector. With more than 70 years of local experience, this is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading OEM.
You can be based anywhere in Sydney, Garden Island location is where you will be based. Note – You must be able to obtain a clean police check due to the nature of the work.
Duties:

• Reporting to the Engineering Manager the primary responsibility for this role will be to work alongside internal project managers, and trades professionals to analyze and facilitate projects.
• Provide administrative support for materials and deliverables.
• Coordinate procurement of equipment and supplies.
• Monitor and update systems and system delivery dates.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers.
• Create quotes and estimates for the Engineering Manager, invoices, and purchase orders.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Held a similar position for 2 years, have previous Engineering Projects administrator experience, or alternatively come from an Engineering background with excellent financial acumen.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to project manage are essential for this position.
• Strong document management, and internal and external stakeholder management experience, ERP / SAP, Invoicing experience.
• Maritime / Defence industry experience preferred.
