The Project Coordinator is responsible for providing high level operational, planning & administrative support to the field teams. This involves interpreting drawings, material take-offs, ordering equipment, scheduling resources and documentation control.
Duties and responsibilities
- Undertake a range of administrative responsibilities to assist build teams including – timesheets, purchase orders, updating project data bases
- Arrange site access before site commencement
- Review access protocols and ensure they’re followed by build teams
- Facilitate communication between design and build teams
- Act as the initial contact point both internally & externally for all routine project matters & enquiries
- Maintain all requisite project information/data in the nominated database ensuring the accuracy & validity of all information
- Ability to produce high quality, accurate communications & submissions (e.g. reports, emails, forms, handover packs) in a concise & comprehensive manner
- Sound planning & delegation skills with the ability to organise a heavy workload of multiple activities at any time
- Ability to conduct independent research, collate information & produce high quality work outputs such as reports, handover packs & other documents
- Comfortable in providing timely, accurate advice & recommendations on routine project matters to both internal & external stakeholders
