We are one of Sydney's elite builders looking to have someone join our dynamic team as a Project Coordinator. Our brand new office is located in Caringbah and our sites are located mostly in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs and Lower North Shore.
We are seeking applications from self-motivated, enthusiastic and reliable individuals who are looking for an exciting opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience from our award winning team.
You will be working closely with the director of the business and our senior management team on High End architecturally designed projects ranging from $1 to $12M in construction value.
This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget to the highest possible standard.
Preference will be given to applicants that have all the required experience and can provide a resume with 2 contactable references.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Document control for estimates & live projects
- Project tender packaging
- Analysis of subcontractor tenders
- General estimating duties including but not limited to take offs, writing up accurate bill of quantities
- Preparing tender submissions with the Project Manager
- Project planning and programming
- Project budget/ cost control
- Contract administration
- Subcontractor liaison
- Site diary control
- Site co-ordination
- Assist the Site Manager in the development of a Site Specific Induction and project safety management plans
- Collection and analysis of subcontractor invoices
- Work under direction of the senior management team
- As a team member, a willingness to assist where required
Skill requirements are:
- Completion of a tertiary degree or diploma in building
- Have a minimum of 18 months relevant experience
- Be well-presented, reliable and must have an honest work ethic
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with sub-contractors, clients and site / project management respectfully
- Possess a current NSW drivers licence
- Have a valid White Card
