About the Role
ABC Innovation Lab is looking for a talented Project Coordinator to take the lead in ideating, planning and delivering the next instalment of its ' ' media trends conference. The conference is an opportunity for the ABC, together with the broader industry, to share knowledge and showcase responses to current challenges and opportunities in the media landscape. Last year, hundreds attended in-person and online from media, technology, business and academia. You will be responsible for taking the conference to the next level and delivering the best one yet.
The Innovation Lab is a team of designers, developers, strategists and content makers. We create a space for ABC teams to test ideas, content and technology that will better serve audiences. We've worked at the foundation of new ABC brands and on content experiments related to AI, smart speakers, connected cars, AR, vertical video and text-to-speech technology.
About You
You will have executed comparable in-person and digital hybrid events successfully and have an up to date understanding of innovation in a media context. You will understand what makes a compelling panel discussion and event segment and be able to select outstanding talent and topics. You will be experienced with the creative and logistical aspects of events, able to devise and execute a communications plan, and have stakeholder management skills. Experience with live streaming and working in a television environment would also be an advantage.
