The Projects Coordinator at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT) plays a pivotal role in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to implement operational plans, support sustainability and diversity strategies, coordinate events, and provide administrative support for a wide variety of programs that seek to grow our engagement, reputation, and impact.This is a fixed-term position to backfill a staff member on parental leave.Reporting to the Manager, Engagement and Partnerships, the Projects Coordinator is a key member of the Engagement and Partnership team, contributing to event delivery, project activity, preparation of communication materials, secretariat support for faculty-level committees, and assisting in report preparation when necessary.Furthermore, the position includes key responsibilities such as delivering the Faculty's sustainability strategy in collaboration with the Associate Dean, Sustainability, and coordinating events and activities aligned with the strategic priority of supporting diversity and inclusion, working alongside the Associate Dean, Diversity and Inclusion.Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate project administration and prepare project documentation, including project plans, schedules, work implementation plans and timeframes, communications, evaluation, and identification of key responsibilities and milestones
- Develop, implement, evaluate and report on proactive strategies that support our strategic ambitions
- Implement a range of initiatives to support stakeholder engagement
- Completion of an undergraduate tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Strong demonstrated committee secretariat skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills; including demonstrated experience in prioritising and effectively balancing competing demands.
- Collaboration, including the ability to work co-operatively and positively in a multidisciplinary based environment and liaise with people from diverse backgrounds.
