Downer is a leading provider of end-to-end Technology & Communications service solutions. Our wireless line of business offers capability across Project Management, RAN design, SAED, construction and integration services for our customers across both Carrier and Critical Communications networks. Downer has been engaged to provide construction services for Greenfields, site upgrades, co-locations, site relocations and transmission upgrades for a major public safety network.
Due to an increase in work, there is an opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our team in North Ryde NSW. This is a part time role for 22.5 hours a week and we’re open to discuss a work schedule that works for you and meets the role responsibilities.
About the role
The Project Coordinator supports the Construction Manager and Delivery team to ensure works are delivered on time, budget and to the required quality. Role responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Prepare project documents, reports, minutes and other material as required by project team
- Maintain and update project records, registers and databases
- Downloading and uploading of construction drawings/packs and other site information in internal and customer databases
- Assist Delivery team in co-ordinating project schedule, resources and workflow.
- Assist project team to issue documentation to field workforce
- Oversight of document control process to ensure information is stored correctly and in accordance with version control
About you
- Previous work experience as a Coordinator in a large project based environment
- Knowledge of construction or telecommunications projects desirable
- Ability to extract data from multiple sources to compile reports
- Strong proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, able to cope with change and ad-hoc requests
- Builds and maintains effective relationships with both internal and external clients & stakeholders, peers and colleagues
