Your core responsibilities include estimating projects, procuring materials, managing orders, ensuring safety compliance, and fostering collaboration with suppliers, engineers, and builders.
Your role will also involve hands-on experience in the workshop, site visits, and basic detailing. General office duties such as answering phones and project printing will be part of your daily routine. Additionally, you should be prepared to take on other responsibilities as needed by management and other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimating and Quoting:Accurately estimate project costs and provide competitive quotes.
- Materials Procurement:Obtain quotes for required materials and manage orders.
- Safety Compliance:Ensure the necessary safety documents and protocols are in place.
- Supplier and Stakeholder Liaison:Collaborate with suppliers, engineers, and builders to support project success.
- Workshop Understanding:Gain insight into fabrication processes and work alongside our boilermakers.
- Site Visits:Visit project sites to gain practical experience and enhance project coordination.
- Detailing:Create basic drawings and sketches as needed.
- General Office Duties:Assist with general office tasks, including answering phones and printing project documents.
