Project Cost Controller

Here at Concentis, we are partnering with a tier-1 asset owner to source a Project Cost Controller, accountable for the development, implementation, and support of integrated project controls systems. You will be required to work closely with package owners and major contractors.
This Gladstone-based role is a 12-month rolling contract, with potential for flexibility around days.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cost control activities including commitment management, invoice processing, and forecasting for assigned projects
• Raise purchase requisitions and process invoices
• Collaborate with Project Leaders to confirm commitment scope and validate payment substantiation
• Ensure estimate and schedule compliance aligns with cash flow forecasts in coordination with Project Leaders
• Develop SAP Work Breakdown Structures, project control accounts and budgets
• Generate accurate reports incorporating cost control curves as required
• Monitor project variations, manage Final Forecast Control, and implement risk mitigation strategies

About You:

• Tertiary qualifications desirable, but not essential
• Demonstrated experience with SAP
• Extensive knowledge of project controls
• Experience working across work Breakdown Structures, cost management and project scopes
• Proven knowledge of compliance with standardised processes and procedures
