The Opportunity
We are seeking a Project Development Engineer to join the Prescribed Development team at Transgrid.
The Project Development Engineer manages the development of option feasibility studies, design coordination and project management activities in the development phase of a number of transmission projects, in compliance with appropriate technical, work health & safety, environmental, budget, time, statutory and quality.
About you
- Tertiary qualification at degree level in an appropriate engineering discipline.
- Experience in project coordination of engineering projects including coordination of design, environment, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Experience in the development of detailed project schedules and cost estimates for projects.
- Well-developed interpersonal, report writing and business reporting skills.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, Australian Standards and Government policy guidelines, which govern safety, engineering design, environmental assessment for the implementation of engineering projects.
- Current driver's licence and the ability to work away from assigned location.
