This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
As a Project Development Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Project managing the design phase and providing technical support on a wide variety of upgrade projects, including roads, drainage, bridges, wharves, paths, earth-retaining structures and boat ramps that will benefit the region for decades to come
- Facilitating project scheduling and preparing civil engineering project construction drawings and specifications
- Undertaking negotiations with specialist consultants on issues relating to specific projects and engaging and managing consultants/contractors as required
- Preparing reports, contract documentation and recommendations on projects, in addition to undertaking project consultation within Council, the community and other stakeholders

This role provides a commencing salary range of between $85.8k to $103k per annum dependent on skills and experience (inclusive of 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance) + 11% Superannuation.
A 9 day fortnight work-cycle currently applies to this role with flexible/hybrid working arrangements available, with a 35 hour week.
