Project Director

Job OverviewOur client, a major EPCM within the Mining Industry, is looking for a Project Director to work on an initial 12-month contract based in Perth.You will be managing a complex project in excess of $1 billion, where the nature of the position is predominantly associated with developing and growing relationships with a major client. The Project Director will liaise with senior management personnel within client and contractor organisations to optimise the delivery of this flagship project within the Mining and Resources Sector.

Day to day you will coach and mentor senior project management personnel in improving the project outcomes and champion continuous organization improvement. You will also lead a dynamic and talented team and manage and develop key client relationships.

About You

• You will have extensive experience in delivering detailed engineering projects with major mining companies in Western Australia.
• You will be a collaborative and influential leader, who can effectively communicate to all management levels and manage client expectations.
• You will have relevant tertiary qualifications and extensive experience in the Resources sector, ideally 20+ years’ experience working in engineering design and construction, Senior Management and leadership experience including direct line supervision of managers in technical disciplines.
• You will also have a demonstrated business acumen.
