About the roleWe have a permanent opportunity based in Leederville for a Project Engineer responsible for engineering and project management support assisting in the provision and management of the state’s water schemes and resources. Based in our Leederville office, this role will be reporting to the Project Director, Assets Delivery. What the role will involveAssist in the coordination of scoping, design, construction, commissioning, handover and the close out of projects for our Regional Water Source & Treatment portfolio Plan, allocate and coordinate tasks according to an approved programme of worksProvide technical assistance on projects working with design consultants, contractors and suppliers in the delivery of worksInspect and coordinate individual works and/or contracts and prepare reports for senior management Key skills and experienceYou will have a qualification in engineering, project management or relevant discipline, along with demonstrated experience in a Project Engineering role. We require knowledge of contract administration, tendering, contract award and contract administration. Your skills in the preparation and analysis of project proposals, reviewing engineering work, and excellent stakeholder management skills will ensure success in this role.
