Your new role
This premier mining company is currently seeking the services of an experienced Project Engineer to join a multimillion-dollar bulk earthworks project with mechanical and electrical scopes of work attached.
Working as a Project Engineer you will:
• Ensure that Project Engineering documentation, including design drawings and documents, ITPs, ITRs, and Risk Registers, are reviewed and inspected effectively.
• Participate in field leadership activities with diligence, and effectively show and demonstrate leadership and expertise.
• Participate in construction meetings and technical meetings as needed to meet the project objectives.
• Engages the capabilities of the entire organisation as needed to meet the project objectives.
• Act as the point of call for isolations/permits to ensure tie-ins and work packs are developed and adhered to.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for the position, you will have:
• Degree level in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or similar discipline
• Experience in Mining or other heavy industries
• Excellent presentation skills, analytical capability, and attention to detail
• Proven analytical, lateral thinking and problem-solving skills
