Our client is a terrific national civil contractor operating in most Australian states and they undertake a broad range of civil projects for clients across both the private and public sectors. Having just secured a new foreshore redevelopment project on WA’s stunning coastline, they now require a top-class civil PROJECT ENGINEER to join their team to support delivery of the works over the next 12 months.
About the Role
This is a permanent PROJECT ENGINEER position working on a FIFO 2/1 roster (ex-Perth only), where you will support the Project Manager and site team during construction of an approximate $15m scope of works including; civils/piling/landscaping & new skatepark. You will provide technical guidance to the site construction team, monitor QA, manage and supervise subcontractors, and perform cost management, tracking, forecasting and progress reporting. Excellent accommodation will be provided in a fully self-contained unit so you will be very comfortable while working away and the ability to explore this tourist hot spot in your downtime. This role will suit a tertiary qualified civil PROJECT ENGINEER with around 4-6 years of post-graduate experience while working for civil contractors on projects valued up to $20m. On offer will be a terrific remuneration package CIRCA $130-140K Base + Super, and 20% Site uplift.

Experience, Qualifications and Other Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering (Bachelors degree minimum)
- 4-6 years of civil construction experience as PROJECT ENGINEER on Earthworks, Hard and Soft Landscaping, Utilities, Drainage or Road & Streetscape Construction in Australia or NZ
- Experience must have been gained while working for Civil Contractors (not client side)
- Previous experience on foreshore development projects in Western Australia will be highly regarded
- Positive “can-do” attitude and ability to problem solve on the go
- Able to provide 2 favorable references from the last 5 years
- Currently Perth/WA based with existing rights to work in Australia
- Current C Class WA Driver’s Licence
- Available within 4 weeks’ notice period
