Project Engineer - Civil

About the role:

Centrals currently have an opportunity for an experienced Civil Project Engineer, working a 2:1 or 3:1 roster. The successful applicant will have experience on remote sites &/or Project Engineering within the mining sector in civil construction. 

Key responsibilities:

• To work with and accept responsibility for the technical aspects of the project and work with the onsite team and multi-discipline workforce.
• Be part of maintaining the highest focus and commitment to meet HSEQ requirements
• Focus on delivering the best overall performance for your project
• Be part of the management team taking responsibility to manage the approved budget. Strive to exceed the profit expectations of the project 
• Preparation and delivery of technical and quality related tender/project documentation
• Accurate preparation of material take-offs, ordering materials and estimates for all variations

• About you:
• Experience working on Main Roads WA projects (desirable)
• Track record in the construction industry with a strong understanding of construction (roadworks, earthworks and concrete).
• At least five 5 years’ experience working on remote sites/Project Engineering roles within the mining or oil & gas sectors
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Material Quantity take-off and measurement

Eligibility:

Candidates must be able to undergo a full pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen and be able to obtain a National Police Clearance within 6 months validity.
