The OpportunityWe have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to oversee the planning, procurement, and delivery of civil and capital infrastructure related projects at all points of the project cycle from detailed planning to delivery and commissioning, including representing BVSC in the management of consultants and contractors.
As Project Manager Disaster Relief, you will prepare project briefs and tender documentation calling for preliminary design, concept design, detailed design and/ or construction services. You will manage the distribution of tasks internally and externally related to the restoration of infrastructure as well as review and ensure compliance of inspection test plan and develop quality assurance standards and procedures as well provide specialist technical advice where required.

About YouWe are seeking an individual who holds a Bachelor degree in an engineering or project/ construction management discipline appropriate to the position and has demonstrated experience in project, consultant and contractor management with at least five (5) years' experience (indicative).
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the delivery of civil works projects. Five (5) years' experience (indicative).
- Experience delivering works across all aspects of the project life cycle. Five (5) years' experience (indicative).
- Sound understanding of contract management principals including risk management, WHS and EEO, and the ability to manage relationships with contractors and professional consultants in order to achieve results.
- Well-developed skills in the interpretation of detailed engineering plans, specifications and quality systems.
This is a fixed term full time position working 35 hours per week.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $115,220.56 gross per annum, comprising of:
- $1996.20 per week base salary
- $219.58 per week superannuation (calculated at 11%)
- 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance (CLA).
