Join our dynamic Capital Project Management team at The Pride Brewery in Auckland and embark on an exciting journey shaping the future of our Supply Chain network! We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Project and Systems Engineer with 2-5 years’ experience to lead major capital projects and champion continuous improvement initiatives to support project management best practice within our organisation.
In this pivotal role, you will be the team’s subject matter expert in developing and maintaining Lion’s capital project management system to drive successful project execution and governance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing leadership and training in capital works management, systems, and reporting.
- Ensuring compliance with engineering standards, specifications, and Lion Ways.
- Advocating for best practice project management systems.
- Managing and delivering capital projects through the entire project lifecycle including feasibility, design, procurement, execution, commissioning and handover.
- Managing compliance and risk associated with capital works.
- Prioritizing safety and environmental considerations in all capital work endeavors.
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Proven experience in capital projects, coupled with a track record of delivering engineering solutions and systems.
- A passion for identifying and implementing continuous improvements to improve process efficiency and outcomes.
- A proactive mindset, capable of delivering multiple outcomes within tight deadlines.
- Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities in engineering.
- Exceptional business partnering and communication skills.
- The ability to cultivate relationships and influence stakeholders effectively.

- A degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
