Due to an increase of works from our client, we are seeking a Project Engineer within our The Risk & Compliance group with experience in ESM / Fire Safety & Compliance.
The Risk & Compliance group is a bespoke business providing direct project delivery support to Telstra. Our remit is to liaise closely with Telstra providing capability to deliver a variety of works ranging from large single site upgrades to annual maintenance programs.
The end-to-end process commences with identifying a work requirement, determining a scope, negotiating commercial terms, overseeing delivery, reporting works progress, invoicing and financial management.
Key Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Act as an Account Manager to the client
- Manage projects within in house Ventia Systems and Client systems
- Develop and provide project and milestone reports
- Provide project completion updates to finance team
- Provide month end invoicing and cashflow reporting to the client
- Provide fortnightly project forecast reporting
- Develop and achieve agreement with the client regarding statement of works
- Liaise with finance and commercial groups to drive desired outcomes including onboarding of new contractors and use of compliant resources
- Ensure all work is undertaken to a compliant standard and in accordance with the client contract
The Person
To be successful in this role you will have experience in Project Delivery ideally within Communications field and with experience within ESM / Fire Safety and Compliance.
You will also possess:
- Experience co-ordinating subcontractors and field staff in remote locations
- Proficient in Excel, Vlookups, pivot tables data analysis and comfortable working with large data sets
- Experience with ERP system, preferably JDE or similar
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with internal and external stakeholders in a timely
