About the role
We are currently seeking a Project Engineer with track and civil experience to join our Rail Operations team based in Seven Hills, NSW.
Rail Operations is an internal business unit within Laing O’Rourke, specialising in the sole delivery of all aspects of Rail, working with a team of technical experts to deliver a high portfolio of work across New South Wales.
Key responsibilities
- Maintenance works such as rerailing, resleepering, Track reconditioning, Transoming & other common maintenance works
- Track Slab and Fixed Track Construction
- Turnouts & Special Trackwork Installation
- Manage a team of Engineers/Supervisors & Blue-Collar staff to ensure successful delivery of works
About you
- Relevant engineering degree or tertiary qualification combined with extensive delivery experience of common railway installation & maintenance tasks.
- Design Management experience progressing from concept design to AFC
- Experience working in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience in Client and stakeholder management
