Position Overview
The Project Engineer WPS role supports the company’s sales and project departments by receiving customer inquiries for Water Processing Solutions and reviewing and accurately interpreting them. They prepare well-defined quotations that meet the customer's technical requirements, are commercially attractive, and align with the company's standards. Additionally, the role is responsible for project execution by engaging with various internal departments and customers to deliver Water Processing Solutions projects on time and within budget.

Role, Responsibilities & Requirements
· The Project Engineer WPS is tasked with receiving inquiries, technically assessing customer requirements, accurately costing the scope of supply and company involvement, and generating high-quality proposals, bids, and tenders that align with customer needs and adhere to company commercial and technical policies and approval guidelines.
· Responsible for studying architectural and engineering drawings and specifications to estimate total costs, prepare detailed cost plans and estimates, and utilize these tools for budgetary control.
· To review customer orders and make competent technical and commercial evaluations of the customer's order and relevant specifications. Complete the contract review and manage the development and monitoring of main project contracts and secondary contracts with contractors and suppliers.
· Elaboration of design construction and assembly methods for Water Processing Solutions, including the specification of spare parts and special tools, and complying with safety and quality standards required by the customer and local regulations.
· Drafting and interpreting technical specifications, drawings, plans, construction, and work procedures to ensure a sustainable project execution.
· Supervising and managing internal and external resources to execute the project as planned and agreed with customers. This includes overseeing engineering, procurement, logistics, work schedules, budgets, and contractors.
· Supervising and monitoring design and construction changes, evaluating their cost implications, and negotiating variations to both designs and project execution.
· Organizing and supervising on-site labour, coordinating the delivery of construction materials and equipment, and establishing programs to ensure the coordination of site activities.
· Supervising, reviewing, and approving site work permissions and daily inductions for site works.
· Effectively liaising with sub-suppliers for technical and commercial information, evaluating received information competently as part of the proposal and bid process, and relaying relevant details to the company's customer.
· Efficiently communicating with all areas of the main manufacturing plant to ensure prompt exchange of relevant information during the proposal and bid process.
· Confidently and promptly communicate with all customers, cultivating positive working relationships and efficiently addressing their requirements or requests to ensure the highest level of customer service across the organization.
