You would require Civil Engineering experience within the road construction / maintenance industry and be able to join us and capable of committing to the following assignment for a minimum period of approximately 1 - 2 years with a possibility of ongoing extensions and other projects, then we're.
Mandatory Experience
It is a critical requirement that you have a minimum of 3 years experience, working directly or indirectly on DTMR Projects previously.
Alternatively, have 3-5 years experience working directly or indirectly with any other Australian Road Infrastructure Authority.
Experience that would be a big advantage.
• Prior experience with council Minor Works programs, Structures Rehabilitation and/or Maintenance programs or teams.
• Procurement of road making materials and project services within guidelines.
• Prior experience as a Contractors Quality Representetive.
• Manage Labour, Plant, Materials and Subcontract within budget and time constraints.
• Submit reports and provide information to management within timeframes.
• Traffic management.
• Knowledge of TMR Technical Specifications,
• Working knowledge of SAP, P6 or other similar project management packages,
• Strong written, verbal communication & computer literacy skills,
• Experience with QMS, and their effective application on construction projects,
• Experience with Project Management Systems, including Safety and Environment.
The hours are likely around 40 per week, however longer hours & weekend work may be required to suit work load. The roles will be Toowoomba based, however some work away in regional or remote locations may be required depending on requirements.
Qualifications.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• A Bachelor of Technology / Civil Engineering, or;
• An Associate Degree in Civil Engineering
You must already be living in Australia with the right to work in Australia, with well-developed interpersonal and consultative skills and a current drivers licence.
