Project Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

Working in our national Project Delivery Office team, you will be involved with multiple projects for a wide portfolio of Government and Enterprise clients.

You will play a vital role in helping ensure our projects are delivered on time, within scope, time and budget. 

Key activities involved with end-to-end project delivery will include:

• Document control, templates, file & folder administration.
• Development, upkeep & transmittal of project plans, schedules & registers.
• Identifying and managing risks, issues & actions.
• Internal & external project reporting.
• Coordinating internal teams & external project resources.
• Meeting coordination, minutes, assigning & following up actions.
• Liaising with Pivotel partners & suppliers.
• Help manage project deliverables, quality, reliability, schedules & cost. 
• Help ensure all project aspects adhere to Pivotel’s values, standards & obligations for Health, Safety, Environment & Privacy. 
• Participate in pre-sales activities including estimates for project schedules, costs, risks and resourcing.
• Assistance with project commercials including scope, contracts, budgets, costs, purchasing & invoicing. 

As you progress in your role you will eventually manage your own portfolio of projects.

ABOUT YOU: 

You will ideally have a background in Telco or ICT environments. 

You are a quick learner, highly organised and focused. Your eye for quality and excellence will be highly valued, as will your ability to see the big picture while also able to have attention to detail. You know how to use systems and process effectively to deliver results & successful outcomes. 

Ideally you will be comfortable working with simultaneous projects involving the provision of multiple products and services to a range of clients. 

Demonstrated success in similar role and a background in project delivery across some or all the following is highly regarded: 

• Fixed & mobile satellite communications.
• Fixed, mobile & wireless public and private data networks.

Experience with or significant exposure to complex infrastructure, systems, products & services will also be highly regarded. Particularly for Government and Enterprise sectors. Project Management certification, qualifications in engineering or other technical and scientific fields will get you noticed. As will a background in or experience with any telecommunications & ICT product or service.

A proven self-starter, you will be adept at working autonomously in a hybrid work environment with teams, partners, suppliers, and clients around the nation. You will be willing to adapt in a fast-paced environment. You are a team player who enjoys working with diverse and cross-functional project teams whilst using a range of technologies, systems, and applications.
