About The Role
Based at our North Lakes office as well as on the project, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and work on projects across Queensland as well as NT.
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project including Safety, HR issues, Financial Planning and Quality from contract award through to final completion. The position requires a person with a strong performance ethic who is focussed on achieving results.
Some of the key requirements for the role are as follows:
- Manage construction planning, programming, and completion schedules;
- Effectively manage and monitor construction performance and progress;
- Work closely with the projects team to ensure timely delivery of programme requirements from a cost and time perspective;
- Subcontractor, plant and equipment management;
- Cost control;
- Maintain and apply all relevant standards and polices;
- Managing the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction;
- Managing and adjusting for any changes in project scope, schedule and / or budget;
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks;
- Leadership and management skills with the ability to mentor others;
- Management of employees, plant, and equipment
What you will need:
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering (preferred)
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in civil construction
- Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills allowing you to manage multiple priorities whilst delivering the project within time, cost and quality constraints.
- High attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deliver on tight deadlines
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
- Enthusiastic, driven, focussed and reliable
- TMR experience highly regarded
- Strong client focus
- High level of IT proficiency, computer literacy, MS Office Suite
- Self starter and a willingness to travel to various sites across FNQ & NT.
