Position summary
As a Project Manager in their Industrial group, your role will be to lead and mentor a team of project and design engineers deliver world-class water treatment solutions, on time and on budget.
You will be experienced in delivering key projects in water treatment and experienced in water infrastructure, pipeworks and distribution networks. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, contractors and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Concurrently manage multiple projects.
- Project planning and establishment of project schedules, milestones, and deliverables; monitor and report on progress against the plan.
- Focal point for all project communications. Manage communication between cross-functional teams, Client, and other stakeholders.
- Financial project control and regular project reporting to Senior Management.
- Ensure compliance with all policies, processes, and procedures, including safety and quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance, instructions, and advice to the Project Team to ensure quality and timely completion of projects.
- Review design and documentation to ensure compliance with design criteria and standards.
- Manage project resources including personnel, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Ability to understand treatment and control systems and offer process improvements.
- Oversee the development of project quality and site safety documentation including management plans, SWMS, ITPs etc.
- Manage site installation, site commissioning and process proving activities.
- Work with the Sales Team to assist in response to Tenders and Quotations.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications and / or demonstrable experience (preference for Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering)
- Minimum 7 years experience in water / wastewater treatment plants, or associated water infrastructure
- Proven leader and experience in managing complex projects and teams
