About the Opportunity
United Precast is in a solid growth stage and is currently searching for a driven person to add to the projects team, responsible for establishing and managing the administrative and cost aspects of commercial projects.
You will be the Project Manager working to keep the job moving and solving problems. This is a full-time position and remuneration will be negotiated depending on experience and your capacity to take the company forward.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Co-ordinate Manufacture, Transport & Erection of Precast Elements
- Predict resources needed to complete the project, manage schedule and activities to meet program
- Lead project delivery through clear ownership, seeking outstanding outcomes for our clients
- Ensure projects are profitable and deliver high quality results
- Identify/remove obstacles, making improvements and mitigating risk where necessary
- Engage with key stakeholders across all levels of our client’s organisation to support the effective and transparent delivery of project
- A thorough knowledge of current South Australian Workplace Health and Safety regulations and its application to Construction Projects.
- A driven individual who is looking for career progression and welcomes the opportunity to take responsibility for their projects.
Skills and Experience
- A demonstrated track record of high-quality delivery with 5-10 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction preferably in an Subcontractor environment.
- Min. Tertiary qualifications in construction or project management
- Extensive knowledge in reading and interpreting technical drawings, authority approvals and building code compliance
- Previous experience leading teams of diverse talent on complex projects, experience managing multiple projects a major bonus
