Address Browns Piling is a piling contractor located in Dandenong South servicing Melbourne Metro and wider Victorian projects.
Browns has an extensive piling fleet specialising in CFA and Bored Pier methodologies. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the Browns Piling team. Your focus will revolve around managing all aspects of project delivery, estimation & fostering strong relationships with clients, suppliers & subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
• Plans, organises, directs, controls and coordinates construction of engineering and building projects, and all resources involved in the construction process
• Engage and manage specialist suppliers and subcontractors.
• Co-ordinate internal stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers.
• Provide project status program and cost reporting.
• Provide specialist advice to internal stakeholders to assist nation-wide project delivery.
• Other specialist advice and reporting as required.
• Attend briefings, site visits as needed.
• Interstate travel as required.
The successful candidate will bring the following experience and capabilities to the role:
• Minimum 5 years experience
• Demonstrated capability at estimating and/or project delivery.
• Proven understanding of infrastructure and commercial piling construction techniques.
• High level personal organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and to meet strict deadlines.
• High level computer skills – Microsoft Office, Estimating Software.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to travel within Australia for short durations.
• Permanent Residency.
A range of qualities and attributes would be advantageous, including (but not limited to):
• Geotechnical experience/qualifications.
• Exposure to complex civil work programmes on infrastructure, industrial, renewables and/or commercial projects.
• Proficiency in Autocad.
• Broad range of industry contacts.
• Understanding of State & Territory OHS/WHS, Quality and Environmental Regulations.
• Proven record of business/commercial development and/or high profile piling projects.
